The venue |
Dillington House is an outstanding conference venue set in beautiful Somerset countryside about 13 miles from Taunton and around 2 miles from Ilminster. Since 1950 Dillington has served the South West region as a centre for adult education, for conferences and business meetings, and is run by Somerset County Council. The main house is complemented by the Hyde - a purpose-built, modern residential conference and meeting venue which is where the Retreat will be primarily held. All Retreat attendees will have their own en- suite rooms (these may be double, single or twin rooms depending upon availability). Rooms have flat-screen televisions, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee-making facilities. The bedrooms also have free wireless internet access. The residential accommodation has been awarded a Five Star rating by VisitEngland National Quality Assurance Standard Campus Scheme. There are a number of fully accessible bedrooms and most lecture rooms have induction loops. There is a lift for those attendees with mobility requirements. There is a bar/lounge area and plenty of outdoor space for project working – weather permitting! Dillington House |
